KIFIFE 2021 is over – see you next year!
KIFIFE 2021 is over! With inspiring presentations by the workshop participants in storytelling and stop motion animation as well as a fabulous dance performance by Troupe Warbe de Tamissi, we closed the 2nd edition of KIFIFE, the Kids’ Film Festival at Operndorf Afrika / Village Opéra! The Festival’s last screening took place under a starry sky at Tamissi Village. The atmosphere was magical and the film “Adama” by Simon Rouby was the perfect ending to a wonderful festival.
We want to thank all the participants, the workshop leaders from ABCA and filmmaker Poupoune Sesonga as well the mobile cinema team of CNA. The festival was made possible by the generous support of Goethe-Institut!
See you next year!

In a workshop, the school children learned the stop-motion technique with filmmakers and produced a small film. With self-made backdrops and figures, young Alima tells us about school, home and what is important to her. The workshop was led by Serge Dimitri Pitroipa and André Daniel Tapsoba from the Association Burkinabé Cinéma d’Animation.
